Autumn in Switzerland arrives quietly, almost politely. One day the trees are green, the next they are suddenly dressed in shades of gold, rust, and crimson. The air becomes crisp, the sunlight softer, and the rhythm of the cities slows just enough to make you notice the change.

There are cities that are beautiful in every season, and then there are cities that somehow make more sense when the temperatures drop. For me, Budapest is one of them.
